Growing up in the swamps and marshes of South Louisiana provided me a vast and unique world from which to draw, both personally and creatively. My late father, a professional trapper and outdoorsman, passed down his love and awe of the coastal environment , animals and birds to me. His mission was always to put back in as much as he took. And, in a sense, that is what I do with my art, visually take and creatively return. It is the love of nature and wildlife, mostly wading birds and waterfowl, which inspires all of my paintings. I must also add that I am 100% self taught.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast has been my home for twenty years now, and my eyes can not take in all the rich abundance of flora & fauna! Everywhere I look, there is color and life! Compositions begin forming and I fight to place on canvas that which my eyes conceive. The world around me is constantly changing and inspiring my senses, and I respond with work that is continually growing and evolving.

Over the years, my work has been featured in Beach Boulevard Magazine, WLOX news, and on display at the Pascagoula Audubon Center. I also enjoy painting mural and other designs, which can be seen at the House Of Blues in New Orleans, LA. and Orlando, FL. You can find my work in Mississippi Gulf Coast, Coastal Alabama, Sanibel Island, Florida, and South Louisiana galleries, as well.

I offer beautiful originals as well as top quality prints printed on heavy, archival print paper.

Thank you so much for taking the time to view my gallery of work. I appreciate it...and welcome any questions.
